We have recently opened the lighting showroom - sparks and lights - with hundreds of lights displayed and skilled sales staff to assist you with your enquiries..

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to the use of this
Website and by accessing this Website and/or placing an order you agree to be bound by the
terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and
conditions you may not use or access this Website.
Before you place an order, if you have any questions relating to these terms and

"Product" means a product displayed for sale on the Website; "Product
Description" means that part of the Website where certain terms and conditions in
respect of the individual Product are provided; "Special Conditions" means the

Website collectively; "Personal Information" means the details provided by you
on registration; "We/us" means Sparks Electrical Wholesalers Ltd;

You are provided with access to this Website in accordance with these Conditions and any orders placed by you must be placed strictly in accordance with these Conditions.
Registration
You warrant that: The Personal Information which you are
required to provide when you register as a customer is true, accurate, current and
complete in all respects; and You will notify us immediately of any changes to the
Personal Information by contacting us by e-mail, or calling us or calling us on 020 77263
8007 between 8am – 5pm Monday to Fridays or 8.30am – 2pm on Saturdays. You agree
not to impersonate any other person or entity or to use a false name or a name that you
are not authorised to use.

confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the

shopping account and/or your Personal Information.

without notice to you and you confirm that we shall not be liable to you or any third

Purchase of products
Orders
All orders are subject to acceptance in accordance with
our Order acceptance policy. We will take all reasonable care, in so far as it is in our
power to do so, to keep the details of your order and payment secure, but in the absence
of negligence on our part we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third
party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from
the Website.
We aim to get your order out to you as soon as possible. Often this may be on the day - or the following day - of receiving your order and we aim to get the majority of our orders out within 2-3 days. If we do not have something in stock - we will let you know as soon as possible by e-mail, giving you approximate estimated delivery date. For a few items, it may take us 3-4 weeks to obtain. If this is the case, we will advise you promptly of this by e-mail. Some of these items may be available earlier if you are willing to pay for carriage costs from the supplier. We will advise you - if relevant - of this option and the cost of carriage, so that you can inform us on what you would like us to do on your behalf. If you are ordering more than one item, we will retain all items until we have all in stock ready to send out to you unless both parties have agreed to a different set of arrangements.
Delivery is charged at £10.00 plus VAT (£11.75 in total). This is based on one delivery to one address located on the mainland Great Britain (England, Scotland and Wales). Different delivery addresses will be subject to a £10.00 plus VAT charge per address. In addition, part order deliveries may also be subject to additional charges. We will inform you of this and await your agreement to this prior to despatch if this is the case. Deliveries outside mainland Great Britain are subject to different charges. On receipt of your order, we will calculate costs and respond to you as soon as possible to give you the cost of delivery for your confirmation to proceed with the order.
If any items sent to you are faulty on receipt of those items or if you receive items delivered by us to you in error, you should notify us of this within 48 hours of receipt. You should notify us either by e-mail to sales@sparksdirect.co.uk or by fax on 020 7272 3007. Please give us details of the item ordered, a brief description of the fault, your name, invoice number and a daytime contact telephone number and e-mail address. You then will be contacted by us with a Returns Authorisation Number. This should be put on the label when you return the goods to us, to ensure a prompt refund. We will refund postage of returned faulty items and either refund the goods or replace them on receipt of the returned goods. We would recommend that, for your own protection, any items returned to us are sent via recorded mail. Items should be sent to: Internet Returns, Sparks Electrical Wholesalers, 659 Holloway Road, London N19 5SE.
If the items delivered are not wanted by yourself, then unfortunately we can not refund the postage paid to return them. We would advise any returns to be sent by recorded or similar delivery method so that confirmation of safe receipt can be accepted. By law, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase of an item within seven working days of the item's delivery to you. This applies to all consumers - ie individuals who are buying for purposes which are outside his/her business (as defined by the Distance Selling Regulations 2000. If you are buying for your business, then please note the conditions at the end of this section. The right for 'consumers' as defined above to withdraw from their purchase applies to all of our products, providing they are returned in the condition they were received in - with all the original packing - and are able to be put back into stock for resale. We are unable to accept returns of special orders where a product has been specially ordered for you - eg track fittings made to your own requirements - or lamps (light bulbs) unless they have been received in error or are faulty on receipt and you have notified us within 48 hours of receipt.
For more information on your right to withdraw from your purchase within the seven working day cooling-off period, visit the Department of Trade and Industry's Web site at: www.dti.gov.uk/CACP/ca/advice/homeshopping/homeshop.htm which also has a form you can print off to return to us as notification. To cancel your purchase under this cooling off period, please notify us in writing - either by email to sales@sparksdirect.co.uk or by fax on 020 7272 3007 within seven working days (excluding Saturdays, Sundays and English Bank Holidays) of the date that the item was delivered to you. We then will issue you with a Returns Authorisation Number which should be put on the label when you return the goods to us, to ensure a prompt refund. We will also refund the standard delivery charge. Please note that we cannot refund any priority or previously agreed additional delivery charge(s). You should ensure that the returned items are received within seven working days of receiving a Returns Authorisation Number from ourselves otherwise the Returns Authorisation Number and your entitlement to a full discount will be no longer valid. Any goods received after this time period - or without the appropriate written notification - will be subject to a 20% handling charge and the original delivery costs will not be refunded. Items should be sent to: Internet Returns, Sparks Electrical Wholesalers, 659 Holloway Road, London N19 5SE. Returned goods received by us in a damaged condition or without the original packaging can not refunded by us and any compensation should be sought from the courier or postage company's insurance (if applicable) by the customer.
Business, or individuals buying for their business purposes, are informed that any unwanted items are to be returned within seven days of delivery and will be subject to a 20% handling charge (unless exchanging items for other goods) and that the original delivery charge will not be refunded. Sparks will not refund the postage or handling costs in returning the unwanted items.
Each Product purchased is sold subject to its Product
Description which sets out additional Specific Conditions related to that Product
including, without limitation, terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates
and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.
We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of
Products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information
was entered onto the system. Although we aim to keep the Website as up to date as
possible, the information including Product Descriptions appearing on this Website at a
particular time may not always reflect the position exactly at the moment you place an
order. We cannot confirm the price of a Product until your order is accepted in accordance
with our Order acceptance policy.
Payment
All prices are exclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the current rates and are correct at the time of entering the information onto the system. The total cost of your order is the price of the Products ordered plus VAT plus delivery charges as set out in the Delivery section of this Website. Payment can be made by any of the methods specified in the Payment section of this Website and payment will be debited and cleared from your account as set out in the Payment section of this Website. You confirm that the credit or debit card that is being used is yours. Payment will not be debited from your credit card until the items are ready for dispatch unless we have informed you of a different arrangement.
All credit/debit cardholders are subject to validation
checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to
or does not, for any reason, authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay
or non-delivery.
Refusal of transaction
We reserve the
right to withdraw any Products from this Website at any time and/or remove or edit any
materials or content on this Website. We may refuse to process a transaction for any
reason or refuse service to anyone at any time at our sole discretion. We will not be
liable to you or any third party by reason of our withdrawing any Product from this
Website whether or not that Product has been sold; removing or editing any materials or
content on the Website; refusing to process a transaction or unwinding or suspending any
transaction after processing has begun.
To be eligible to purchase Products on this Website and lawfully enter into and form
contracts on this Website under English law you must:

surrounding what Sparks Electrical Wholesalers Ltd and you are expected to do.
You confirm that, in agreeing to accept the Conditions, you have not relied on any
representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a term of these Conditions
and you agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any representation. Nothing in
this Clause shall limit or exclude our liability in respect of any fraudulent or negligent
misrepresentation whether or not such has become a term of the Conditions.
Law
The Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
