PIR Switches

The range of passive infrared occupancy switches are designed for the automatic control of lighting, heating and ventilation loads. They operate by turning the load on only when an area is occupied; after the occupant has left the area the load will automatically turn off. An integral, adjustable time delay ensures that the unit stays switched on, even when the occupant is momentarily still. When used to control lighting loads, an optional photocell can be used to keep the lights off in bright conditions.
