The Exel 2 surface mounting enclosure is fabricated from rust protected sheet steel with a light grey paint finish with removable top and bottom endplates incorporating knockouts and gasketed doors giving IP41 protection.

Chromium plated front operated handles, with "ON(|) OFF(O)" indication, and internal fixing enables the unit to be mounted closely side by side.

Its interior comprises porcelain bases fitted with not ferrous conducting components.

The switch-disconnector is suitable for use on AC or DC.

Exel 2 switch-disconnector is type tested to BS EN 60947-3 and meet the constructional requirements for isolation as specified in BS EN 60947-3.
