Hi-Wire Systems can be fitted absolutely anywhere - across ceilings, down walls, around corners, within alcoves, diagonally, horizontally or vertically - allowing the ultimate in design flexibility.

The systems can be run to a maximum length of 6 metres and at a maximum wattage of 300VA. In runs of more than 6 metres, commercial 6mm wire must be used and connected with insulated connectors. Each run needs to be supplied separately from the same phase supply.

A solid core cable must be used to connect the power from the transformer to the tensioner and this must not be more than 2 metres in length.

The suspension wire should be tensioned to reduce any slack on the hi-wire cable and the PVC insulation casing of the wire must be pierced to make a solid connection.
