The flow connector was conceived as a timely solution to the problems encountered by electricians when testing lighting circuits. By failing to disconnect transformers or ballasts from the circuit, the ‘Mega’ test would ‘blow’ the electronics, incurring additional cost and labour. The CLICK® flow connector now facilitates the simple temporary disconnection of the electronics from the luminaire whilst the 1000V test is carried out.
For safety, male and female connectors in the CLICK® flow connector can only be mated in one way the male section is designed for use with cable dimensions of 1.5mm² 3 core maximum with cord restraint for flex and the female with 3 x 2.5mm² twin and earth (with additional loop terminal). Designed for 250V~ 20A Max. applications, the connectors have ‘backed off’ screw terminals with slotted/cross heads. The CLICK® flow connector incorporates an all-in-one junction box and large terminals for easy access.
