This is the Forbes and Lomax SFC/NIC, a 13A switched fused connection (spur) in nickel silver with plastic insert and rocker, manufactured by Forbes and Lomax.
Note: This item comes with a choice of white (SFC/NIC) or black (SFC/NIC/B) plastic rocker and trim; please mention in the comments the desired trim.
About the Forbes and Lomax Spurs - Fused Connection Units
- A range of 13A fused connection units have been designed for the connection of refrigerators, water heaters, central heating boilers and other fixed appliances.
- Illuminated and non illuminated options are available in both switched and un-switched fuse spurs. Metal rockers and cable outlets are also available.
- The Fuse Connection from Forbes and Lomax are available in all their finishes such as, the Invisible Lightswitch® Range, the Antique Bronze Range, the Stainless Steel Range, the Aged Brass Range, the Unlacquered Brass Range, the Nickel Silver Range, the Verdigris Range, and the Painted Range.
- The rockers can be in Antique Bronze, Brass, Nickel, and Stainless Steel. The inserts are either black or white plastic.
1 Gang Switched Spur - Technical
- It is a single spur on a single size plate, switched, with plastic rocker and trim.
- Conforms to BS 1363
- Fused connection units have a retained fuse carrier that is not removed during fuse replacement.
- All neon indicators are integrally wired into the product and do not require separate connection when installing.
- All the Forbes and Lomax spurs / fuse connnection units require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes.

About the Forbes and Lomax Nickel Silver Range
Nickel Silver first became popular in the 19th century due to its similarity to Sterling Silver and was commonly used for various decorative items around the home. It has a permanent mirrored finish which creates a contemporary luxurious appearance which is warmer than chrome, making it more suitable for living areas either traditional or modern.
- The Forbes and Lomax Nickel Silver is available in: Dolly Switch, Rotary Dimmer, Button Dimmer, and Rocker Switch. Furthermore, a full range of socket outlets are available, including power outlets, European sockets, telecom and data, audio and visual, fused connection and floor sockets.

- All the Forbes and Lomax Nickel Silver switches conform to BSEN 60669-1:2018. 13amp sockets conform to BS1363-2:2016 +A1: 2018, 2amp and 5amp sockets conform to BS546:1950
- Single plates measure 86mm x 86mm and double plates measure 146mm x 86mm
- All Forbes & Lomax switches and sockets require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes, but we recommend 47mm for ease of installation
