This is a pull cord switch for bathroom lights with a pull action for ON/OFF switching and a prolong pull for dimming action. Comes in a polycarbonate white finish and has a chrome effect cover. It is not suitable for fluorescent lamps, but it can work with incandescent loads (up to 250W) and transformer loads (up to 175W).

Note: this dimming pull cord switch is NOT suitable for LED lighting (it is not recommended to use this item with dimmable LED lights).

  • This dimming switch is suitable for indoor use.
  • This switch is suitable for use in living areas, bathroom zone 2 and outside (safe) zones only (see the diagram and current IEE Wiring Regulations for details). It is not suitable for bathroom zones 0 or 1.
  • If being fitted in a bathroom a 30mA RCD must be used.
  • CE Mark, class 2 electrical rated.

  • 1 x White dimming pull switch with matching white toggle
  • 1 x Optional chrome effect cover with matching chrome effect toggle
  • 1 x Fixing kit

How this Dimmer Pull Cord Switch Operates:

  1. To turn on: pull the cord downwards once and release. The light will always come on at full brightness regardless of the level when it was last switched off.
  2. To turn off at any time: pull the cord downwards and release.
  3. To dim lighting: pull the cord downwards and hold until the required light level is achieved then release.
  4. To adjust lighting level when already on: pull the cord downwards and hold until required level is achieved.

Note: The pull switch has a quiet actuator so you will not hear a click sound when operating this switch.
