This is a mains voltage 200N electromagnetic door retainer and keeper plate ideal for keeping the fire doors open where the easy Disability Discrimination Act access is essential. It can be used in conjunction with any suitable fire alarms.
When the alarm is triggered, the power to the door holder is cut, allowing the fire door fitted with its standard closing mechanism to shut automatically.
- It is fitted with an integral release button.
- Supplied complete with an adjustable keeper plate and instructions as standard.
- Includes a filter for EMC emissions. Internal diodes dissipate any "back EMF" on switch-off, reducing wear at the control unit.
- Ideal for public access areas including hospitals, airports, cinemas, offices, hotels, and nursing homes.
- It is built around a robust fascia plate for flush mounting on a standard electrical back-box.
- For surface mounting, it is supplied with a matching diecast aluminium box complete with 20mm entry holes and blanking plugs, or alternatively a pressed steel surface mount box with 20mm knockouts.
