Flos was founded in 1962 in Merano, to produce modern lighting that would capture people’s imagination. To conceptualise new ideas, they enlisted to help of creative geniuses Achille Castiglioni, Pier Giacomo Castiglioni and Tobia Scarpa. These three pioneers of Italian design continued to work with Flos up until the late 80s.

Flos now continue to be at the forefront of design with collections from Philippe Starck, Jasper Morrison, Mark Newson and Sebastian Wrong. Their range expresses the beauty in simple functional design, the small details are what really give the Flos range an enduring artistic legacy in modern home lighting.

The grey Flos Clessidra outdoor wall light has a body constructed by means of aluminium 'pressofusione' and diffusers in PMMA, also offering a useful 40 degree tilt angle. Features include an aluminium wall attachment with a cover in PA66. The Clessidra is also available in deep brown-painted or gray-painted for outdoor version.

They boast high-efficiency lenses specially designed for the applications (which are non-replaceable) and there are a wide range (100-240 Volt) power packs integrated that can be integrated into the body for maximum efficiency.
