This is the Flos iC C/W2 brass wall or ceiling lamp coming complete with a brass frame and a 300mm blown glass opal globe diffuser, designed by Michael Anastassiades in 2014.

Stylish fitting larger than the C/W1, ideal for interior decoration and useful for either wall lighting or ceiling lighting, providing diffused light.
It is part of a wide range of table lights, wall lights, pendant lights, and ceiling lights taking as their basic form a sphere that is perfectly balanced on the edge of a rod.

There is a series of lights: table lights, wall lights, ceiling pendants and ceiling mounted lights which take as their basic form a sphere that is perfectly balanced on the edge of a rod. I came across an online video clip of a contact juggler. He was spinning a set of spheres, moving them around on his arms and edge of his fingers.
