This is the Robus R100SB Globe 100W, a bathroom ceiling light that is rated IP44 (suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3). It is a stylish piece: white, flush-mounted ceiling fitting with a base diameter of 100mm and a 180mm globe diameter that fully shows of its design.

This surface mount ceiling globe looks equally attractive in contemporary and traditional style installations. Due to its 18cm diameter globe, you can safely fit a higher wattage BC light bulb in it (max. 100W), though we would recommend a LED lamp. It is suitable for any low-energy lamp.

Other than its attractive design, the Robus R100SB Globe offers plenty more in terms of practical benefits. It is designed to be strong, durable and highly impact resistant, with its lamp sealed within a separate compartment. This ensures it is safe from splashes and will not suffer any corrosion to its electrical contacts. 

It features a pre-wired terminal block that will largely eliminate the need for wiring, and a simple twist-on twist-off diffuser, making removal of the globe a breeze. The glass globe itself is triple layered and blow-moulded, with an opal diffuser through which it provides soft and ambient lighting. 

This fitting is typically installed in the bathroom, but it is also suitable for public toilets, public buildings, changing rooms, porches, stairways, corridors, hotel rooms, back of house areas, and apartment communal areas.
