This mirror heating marvel - the DEVIfoil Mirror - is a highly efficient system for maintaining a steam-free bathroom. Installation is quick and easy, especially when the self-adhesive side of the heating foil is placed on the back of the mirror prior to its placement. Everyone loves a nice, hot shower, but less fun is dealing with the steamy mirrors they inevitably create and the DEVIfoil is the perfect solution. 

The DEVIfoil is a fantastic way to turn a large functional piece of bathroom equipment that removes any requirement for wiping condensation after a steamy bath or shower. The DEVI foil can be used in conjunction with DEVI’s ‘DEVIMat’, which will eliminate the effects of the temperature difference in your bathroom.. 

DEVI Mirror Demister Foil - Installation

• Important notices before you begin installing the Devifoil: firstly do not cut or pierce the foil. Make sure you are complying with local regulations and standards concerning wiring; the wiring must be covered and inaccessible. The metal parts surrounding the mirror must be earthed and compliant with regulations. 
• All stationary appliances without a means of a pole disconnection from the supply must have a disconnect device incorporated in the fixed wiring circuit. The heating foil must be be connected by an authorised electrician and multiple foils should be fitted to a single mirror that must be wired in parallel with each other.  You must ensure the power supply is able to take the load and not to overlap the foils.
• If the mirror is flush to the wall, cut out a recess in the wall that can house the terminal moulding. Once done, mark the back of the mirror where the foil id fitted and ensure that the mirror is clean and dry. Peel of the protective release paper before positioning one edge of the foil on the mirror's back, applying pressure evenly as the foil is gradually lowered on to the rear of the mirror.
