Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use this dimmer to control standard old halogen or incandescent bulbs?
Yes. The intelligent LEDIT-B100 modules inside this dimmer are universally compatible with dimmable mains LED lamps, dimmable CFL lamps, traditional incandescent lamps, and mains voltage halogen lamps. When using mains halogens, remember that the modules should be de-rated by 25%.
Can this dimmer be used in a hallway where two switches control the same light?
Yes, it features full 2-way circuitry. This allows it to be integrated into a 2-way circuit so you can turn the lights on or off from a different door or staircase landing using a standard rocker switch. Note that you cannot use two rotary dimmers on the exact same lighting circuit.
Can I adjust the lowest dimming point if my LED bulbs flicker when turned low?
Yes. The built-in intelligent modules allow you to manually program and adjust the minimum brightness level setting directly on the unit. This helps you eliminate any low-end flickering or "drop-out" common to specific brands of LED downlights.
