How It Works With the System
The RRK-P20-240G-AW functions as a plug-in lamp dimmer within the Lutron RA2 Select smart lighting ecosystem. It simply plugs into a standard UK mains socket, and your lamp then plugs into the dimmer’s outlet. The device communicates wirelessly over Clear Connect RF (~868 MHz) with Pico remotes, Radio Powr Savr occupancy/vacancy sensors, and — when part of a whole-home system — the RA2 Select main repeater hub.
Once paired, the dimmer can be controlled locally using Pico wireless controls and programmed via the Lutron App (when connected to a repeater) to be part of lighting scenes, daily schedules, and automation routines. Remote access through the app allows control from anywhere in the world when an RA2 Select hub is included.
The plug-in form factor means installation is quick — no electrician or wiring is required — making it an accessible way to upgrade existing plug-in lighting fixtures for smart home control.
