The Solid Brass 8505 Portree, manufactured by Astro Lighting (SKU 1400003), is a wall lantern shedding light downward on the wall.
It is not suitable for installation within 5 miles of the coast or in a high salt environment (it is not a Coastal light fitting).
Note: This product supersedes 1400001, which is discontinued.
Manufacturer's note regarding the brass construction of this fitting:
Please note that natural brass is an untreated raw material and the finish will change over time. The structural integrity of the brass will remain, but as the product ages the surface will naturally oxidise and mottle, and in time will achieve a distinctive patina that is part of its charm. If you wish to maintain the original look of the brass for as long as possible, we recommend that the product is rinsed with fresh water every few months.
