The Saxby SX81572 Ravel Trimless Round Fixed Downlight represents the height of modern, minimalist lighting design. This fixture is specifically engineered to be a plastered-in fitting, ensuring a completely seamless and 'trimless' look once installation is complete. It is integrated into the ceiling during the early stages of a build, allowing the final plaster skim to cover the edges of the fitting, resulting in clean lines and truly unobtrusive illumination.
Beyond aesthetics, this downlight prioritizes safety, boasting a 90-minute fire rating to maintain the integrity of the ceiling structure. The fixture is designed as a fixed fitting (non-tilting) for reliable ceiling illumination. It operates at mains voltage (220-240V) and uses a standard GU10 lamp (max 7W LED or 50W Halogen, lamp not included), offering flexibility in choosing a light source.
To streamline the installation process, the Ravel Trimless Downlight comes supplied complete with a fast-fix loop-in / loop-out connector box. Constructed from durable die-cast aluminium alloy and steel and finished in a neutral matt white, this downlight is a high-quality, Class 1 electrical-rated product that delivers a modern, architectural finish to any room.
