Rako Cloud Gateway Media Bridge for Integrating Rako Systems with IoT Enabled Devices

The Rako Cloud Gateway allows lighting, curtain and blind control from home automation devices. The Rako Cloud Gateway integrates Rako systems with IoT enabled devices such as Amazon Echo, Google Home and Apple HomeKit. 

The Rako Cloud Gateway is the interface between a Rako system and systems such as Amazon's Echo (Alexa), Google Home and Apple HomeKit, allowing voice commands to control lighting, curtains and blinds. It communicates with new and existing RA, WA, RTC or WTC bridges, allowing simple and intuitive voice commands to control a Rako system. 

• The lights can be turned on and off, scenes selected and curtains/blinds opened and closed. It is also possible to specify percentage levels for individual channels and change the colour of RGB fittings. 
• By installing a Cloud Gateway and registering an account at my.rakocontrols.com, home automation devices can talk to Rako products over IP. The Rako system must include a Bridge connected to the same network as the Cloud Gateway.
• Amazon Echo (Alexa) is a voice activated device, fully integrated with Rao; to set it up you need to register your cloud gateway at my.rakocontrols.com with the unique code displayed on the unit's LCD screen. Then, you have to enable the Rako Skill within the Alexa app, and click "discover devices"; once linked, control of the Rako system is possible.
• Please note: support for the above IoT services will be introduced throughout 2017 by Rako Systems. Support is currently being added for Apple HomeKit and Google Home, together with an API for use with all IFTT products that allow integrators full flexibility when creating feature-rich smart homes. 
• Note: The connection is secured by TLS v1.2 and is encrypted with at least 128-bit AES encryption using ECDHE_RSA as the key exchange mechanism. The device has a dedicated Crypto Authentication Device which ensures the integrity of messages and supports key agreement to create session keys for message encryption.
