CP Electronics MRT16-REM Time Delay Switch - Technical Specs
This tamperproof time delay switch can be mounted away from accessible areas to be operated by a remote slave switch. Three modes of operation are available:
On/Off: activating the slave unit will start the time lag sequence. Operating the slave switch again before the time lag runs out will turn off the appliances.
Resettable: the slave unit starts the time lag sequence; operating it again will restart the time lag.
Non-Resettable: the time delay is started by the slave switch; second operation has no effect until the time delay is over.
As this timer has been designed for general purpose loads, a Neutral feed is required at the switch position. This will allow the timer to be used on various applications from incandescent, fluorescent and compact fluorescent lighting to heating and ventilation loads.
Three different modes of operation can be set on the timer to provide a variety of options to suit particular applications;On/Off Mode: Operating the slave switch will start the timing sequence. Operating the slave switch again during operation will stop the sequence immediately. If the slave switch is not pressed again after initial operation, the timer will switch off after the adjustable preset time period has elapsed.
Resetting Mode: Operating the slave switch will start the timing sequence.
Operating the slave switch again during operation will restart the timing sequence.
Non-Resetting Mode: Operating the slave switch will start the timing sequence.
Operating the slave switch again during operation will have no effect.
The timer will be wired as a master unit, with slave switches used for activation.
Various styles of slave switch can be used, and in most installations only a pair of wires will be required for the slave switches (if the slave switches have neon indicators or backlit buttons, a separate Live and Neutral feed will usually be required to illuminate the neon).
The unit is supplied with M3.5 fixing screws as standard, together with blanking plugs to cover the screw heads.
