The Artemide Castore Suspension Lamp range is composed of a simple round globe pendant lights in different sizes, with an acid etched blown glass diffuser. The Castore from Artemide was designed by Michele De Lucchi and Hubb Ubbens in 2003, and is a cable suspended luminaire for diffused incandescent, halogen, or fluorescent lighting.The spherical diffuser design is enhanced by a loose-fitting and tapering luminous stem, that makes a sweet transition from the strong diffuser light to the blind lamp structure area.
