This is the Forbes and Lomax 1GPIN/VBR, a 1 Gang Push Intermediate Rotary Switch Verdigris Plate and Dimmer Knob.
- Finish: Verdigris Flat Plate and dimmer knob, with no plastic trim / surround.
- Type: single size plate with 1 x rotary switch with an intermediate push ON/push OFF function (it looks like a dimmer but has the function of an intermediate switch)
- Plate dimensions: 86mm x 86mm.
The Forbes and Lomax Dimmer Switch
The Forbes and Lomax dimmer switches are 2-way and can dim either Halogen Lamps, LED Lamps or 0-10v lights. Dimmers can also act as dummy dimmers; they can be regular on/off 2 way or intermediate. However, dimmers cannot be combined with dolly switches or rocker switches. The Forbes and Lomax dimmer switches are available in the following finishes: the Unlacquered Brass Range, the Nickel Silver Range, the Verdigris Range, the Invisible Lightswitch® Range, the Antique Bronze Range, the Stainless Steel Range, the Aged Brass Range.
Technical Information - Dimmer Switch
- Standards: Conforms with IEC 669-2-1 or BSEN 60669-2-1
- All Forbes and Lomax rotary dimmer switches require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes (to be ordered separately).
- Plate dimensions: 1-2 gang 86mm x 86mm, 3-4 gang 146mm x 86mm, larger configurations 4-6 gang 146mm x 146mm.
About the Forbes and Lomax Verdigris Range
Every plate in the Forbes and Lomax Verdigris range is hand-finished and unique, and it will have a different look due to the oxidisation process used when created. These plates have undergone two processes: bronzing and patination; therefore, the plate is well protected and requires very little maintenance.
- Inspired by ancient bronze artifacts, the verdigris range has a distinctive patina finish.
- The plates are hand finished to produce a variable efect, making each plate unique.
- On our website we have Verdigris Dolly Switche, Rotary Dimmers, Button Dimmers, and Rocker Switches. Furthermore, a full range of socket outlets are available, including power outlets, European sockets, telecom and data, audio and visual, fused connection and floor sockets
- All switches conform to BSEN 60669-1:2018. 13amp sockets conform to BS1363- 2:2016 +A1: 2018, 2amp and 5amp sockets conform to BS546:1950
- Single plates measure 86mm x 86mm and double plates measure 146mm x 86mm
- All Forbes & Lomax switches and sockets require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes, but we recommend 47mm for ease of installation
