This is the Forbes and Lomax 1GDIM/U, a 1 Gang Dimmer Plate in Unlacquered Brass - Grid, Plate and Knob only.

Please note: this dimmer plate cannot be sold separately; the required number module/s need to purchased together with the plate (it's a mix-and-match plate). 

• It is a single dimmer plate consisting of the grid, the plate, and the knobs only; the dimmer or switch modules need to be ordered separately.
• If you already have a particular finish of Forbes and Lomax at home and you wish to add more modules, this is one of the "mix-and-match" plates - you can select the desired plate and the required modules to obtain the item you require.
• For example, if you require a 4 gang bronze plate with 2 LED dimmers and 2 dummy dimmers, you can purchase 1 x X4GIM/BMA + 2 x ZT250 + 2 x ZOPUSH.

 About the Forbes and Lomax Unlacquered Brass Range

The Forbes and Lomax Unlacquered Brass plate is a living finish that starts polished but will mellow with age. It is suited to a more classical design as it mellows to a warmer colour and will continue to do so over time. For everyday cleaning, use a soft cloth but for a more thorough clean, use Brasso. The plates should be removed from the wall to prevent damage to wallpaper or paint, alternatively, a protective layer of card can be inserted behind the edge of the plate. Do not use water-based cleaners as they will leave marks and damage the plates.

• Forbes and Lomax Unlacquered Brass is available in the following: Dolly Switches, Rotary Dimmers, Button Dimmers, and Rocker Switches. Furthermore, a full range of socket outlets are available, including power outlets, European sockets, telecom and data, audio and visual, fused connection and floor sockets.
• The Unlacquered Brass range is designed a classical design as it mellows with age if left unpolished to match older brass fittings in the home. 
• This is particularly suitable to period buildings where a bright brass look would be less desirable. Alternatively, the plates can easily be polished to give a shiny look should this be required.
• The depth of the tarnished effect depends on the usage of the product in the home. 
• Although traditional in appearance, the variety of unlacquered brass products we have will meet all the demands of modern living. 
• All switches conform to BSEN 60669-1:2018. 13amp sockets conform to BS1363- 2:2016 +A1: 2018, 2amp and 5amp sockets conform to BS546:1950
• Single plates measure 86mm x 86mm and double plates measure 146mm x 86mm
• All Forbes & Lomax switches and sockets require British standard 35mm deep flush wall boxes, but we recommend 47mm for ease of installation
