The Armeg EBS.BSC.HM is an EBS hard material chisel. It is 80mm wide and ideal for producing numerous holes for electrical back boxes in tough masonry. It makes what is usually a time consuming task quick and simple. It can be used on heavy duty concrete, hard bricks, natural stone, lightweight blocks, limestone, mortar and much more. This chisel is the same width as most common electrical switch and socket back boxes. To be used in conjunction with the Armeg Circular Box cutter EBS.ROUND.SET and should be used instead on using the EBS Square cutter in Hard concrete blocks or engineering bricks for removing the 4 remaining corners. Can also be used for general chiselling work.
- Should be used in an SDS+ machine with roto stop facility and a well greased chuck.

- Prior to using chisels, please ensure your machine has the ‘chisel only’ function as they are designed to be used on this function only.
- Before using the chisel, please ensure the chuck shank is thoroughly lubricated.
- For use in heavy duty concrete, general concrete, hard bricks, soft bricks, lightweight block, natural stone, constructional granite, limestone, mortar.
- Minimal force should be applied when being used.
- After using the product continuously for 10-15 minutes the chisel must be removed from the chuck and allowed to cool at room temperature.
- Lubrication must be re-applied before re-using. Products can fail on the shank due to temperature build up of 200°C.
- Misuse of the product will decrease the maximum time usage significantly. Shank failure due to temperature build up is not warranted.
